Really great christmas elf drawn by a really great seven year old- little bit of a dark elf- a step to the left of the white glittery elf that seems to dominate this season.
Dexter takes me into town where I need to pick up some dish soap- we hear clopping behind us!
and suddenly upon us!
Dexter is cool, he remembers these unusual dogs from last year- he knows that they are friendly and they jingle.
He gets a biscuit from Paws awhile- his favorite shop- then time for some fresh cold doggy water left out for all of the thirsty dogs in the square.
Tied for a minute while I take a spin into the "no Dogs" cupcake bakers to see if they have anything good for diabetics- No absolutely not, is the answer...
Before heading home
Dexter stops to see Santa!
"you must be joking! this is not the REAL Santa! This guy smells like a financial advisor."
Dexter is not easily fooled...

Yes, that is true: absolutely nothing for diabetics! Your best bet is one of those energy bars, the ones that look like multigrain mini loafs, with some almond butter spread on it. It's sweet but tons of protein and grains to metabolize slowly...
Both seven-year-olds and dogs are wise in so many ways. No so people who sell cupcakes.
of course it wasn't the real santa, he's still at his lodge in rovaniemi!
i like the little elf with massive brainwaves pouring out each side of his head!!! find the real elf who modelled for that and hire him on as your manservant . . . you'll never be alone again in any way!!! steven
Big dogs and doggy water but no dead teddy bears.
Too funny and so cute!! Fake Santa indeed!
Happy Holidays to you, lovely!
