On a particularly dark Sunday, Stella, of the best ideas, and I went south to the annual christmas tree bash.
When we left the lake it was foggy.
we arrived after a short drive. The nursery warehouse full of displays of all sorts, every imaginable ornament.
cool props!
chairs bound to one another
forming one gigantic chair tree
a bauble bath?
beyond the warehouse is a little town where we went to charity shops-this most lovely fantastic glorious christmas sweater for sale in the humane society shop. Difficult to pass up - nothing says MEH ry hideous like a christmas sweater of this caliber!
Back at the lake the fog has gained weigh since morning- I know how that happens- the fog and i- simpatico.
Stella's little boat,
so patient,
yearning.
Thinking of that one summer day, Spritz, sunshine, backgammon and delicious food.
it was a good day to be Stella's little boat.
It would never want to be a prop at the christmas tree bash even though the adoration might be nice...and the warmth...and the cookies.
Still, Stella's
little boat has a pretty good view, keeps her eye on things out there and finds the fog interestingly mysterious.
Sometimes it looks like company.

Love that chair tree and the bauble bath of course.
Looks like an enjoyable outing. I hope it ended with a coffee of choice - or tea - or perhaps something a tad stronger.
At first I looked at your header and wondered--"Why is she keeping her balls in the fridge? They look very classy but very cold." Then I read on and things made more sense.
(The sweater outside is frightful!)
I do recognize the little boat. I have its portrait in my sketchbook. Good times! Tell Stella, "hi-dee-ho! from Ideeho!"
Hi there.
Beautifull pictures!
Just to wish you a wonderful X-mas.
Take care.
Maria
You have such an eye for the unusual - love the bath baubles! That lake is eerily beautiful too! By the way, that 'bag thing' in Siem Reap is a wasps' nest - fortunately hanging well out of harm's way! Wishing you and yours a very Merry Xmas! C.
