Fairhaven, where we live, has a little farmer's market every Wednesday in the square. This chair is across the street, surprised/ horrified at what seems to be backing toward it's face There is also a Free Trade shoppe there with all sorts of delightful things , pricey but FAIR trade, guilt free shopping.

the toys, pretty puppets, and stuffies made of quality materials , hand woven fabric, excellent!

Actually more colourful than my very poor pictures - I used too much light and blahhhed out the bright colours.
Pity, I should not even be posting these- you probably have a free trade shoppe in your hood and know how wonderful these toys are.

Love these guys, percussion, bass and tap.

Freshly made from the Bavarian Bakery- carb load.

Right out of the garden- organic produce. The sun shining so brightly today- I could certainly get used to this sort of thing.

Cherries, incredibly sweet.

And the best strawberries of the season- I bought a pint, should have bought the lot. Unbelievably good. Just another beautiful summer day in Fairhaven, aren't you glad you came along?

Glad I came along! But I can't quite taste those strawberries and bings--dang! For the first time I can remember our little town is hosting a farmers market. Problem is our growing season is so short the fresh produce is limited to radishes and spinach, maybe peas. I have a wall of rhubarb I ought to unload. I have cooked it, frozen it and given it away. You'd never know to look at the plants.
Where are you? I love you dear friend.
Love Renee xoxoo
thanks for bringing me but now i've eaten way too many of those fabulous cherries and i think i'm gonna hurl.
I'll take some of that German bread and some berries, please, thank you!
my heart actually jumped a bit when I saw that puppet! I must find one for my own.
such a lovely market. you are a lucky one to be able to visit frequently.
I love that chair...it is such fun.
Around my area there are a lot of vegetable stands...it is customary that the small ones open the day before the 4th of July...that is when the New Jersey tomatoes, corn and strawberries come in...we always have all of them for our 4th of July dinner.
I'm very glad indeed I came along. I'm off now to eat my strawberries - because I bought the ones you didn't!! (PS Just loved that youtube video, LOVED it - so clever! And it does sound exactly like that!)
